Learning On The Go

Summer Neighborhood Learning On the Go was so much fun!

Elgin Partnership for Early Learning, Alignment Collaborative for Education, YWCA Elgin, Gail Borden Public Library, School District U-46, and community partners collaborated to bring learning opportunities into five neighborhoods for our youngest learners. Check out the pictures below to see how children were learning through PLAY!

Children received new books and learning materials each week to build their home library. We hope this is the beginning of a strong relationship to support our youngest learners and their families in preparing for school in the first 2000 days of life from birth to Kindergarten.
